They continued to make HD-type three-wheeled vehicles, an affordable domestic transportation solution in Japan.

This was because at that time, many cars circulating in Japan were imported and expensive.

Based on the above, the products produced by Daihatsu became the forerunner of small commercial units in Japan.

Armed with superior engine technology, Daihatsu began producing vehicle engines and bodies.

Then, going up to the 3rd floor, visitors to the Daihatsu museum are presented with legendary cars from various eras. Such as the Daihatsu Midget, which was born in 1950 in an era when televisions, washing machines, and refrigerators were the three precious treasures.

Used for transporting goods, the Daihatsu Midget was very agile on narrow roads. This small car was also capable of carrying many items.

The Daihatsu Fellow, a vehicle model that was already considered one of the three precious treasures, appeared in the 1960s. The mini car became a mainstay for young Japanese families.

Then there was the Daihatsu Charade with the world's first 1,000 cc three-cylinder engine. The hatchback won the Motor-Fan’s Car of the Year award.

The most proud part is the presence of the first-generation Daihatsu Ayla. Furthermore, this car wears the Astra Daihatsu emblem on its rear body.
