KatadataOTO – PT Sritex is once again in the public spotlight. This comes after investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) seized dozens of luxury cars.

A total of 72 four-wheeled vehicles were seized by the Attorney General's Office from the Sritex 2 Sawah Building in Banmati, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java on Tuesday (08/07) night.

The seizure was carried out for the investigation of alleged corruption in the provision of credit by PT BJB, PT Bank DKI, and BPD Central Java to PT Sritex and its subsidiaries.

“The seizure was carried out on the grounds that the objects or documents were used as tools to commit a criminal act,” said Harli Siregar, Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, as quoted by Antara.
