All three types of the Mitsubishi Destinator rely on the same engine, the 4B40 1.5L turbo, DOHC 16 valve. This mechanical heart is capable of producing 160 hp at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm at 2,500 – 4,000 rpm.

For the transmission, all three variants use a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) model. Meanwhile, the Ultimate and Exceed versions have a Drive Mode Selector.

Regarding the security and safety systems, the Ultimate variant has everything available, starting from FCM (Forward Collision Mitigation), ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), BSW (Blind Spot Warning) with Lane Change Assist (LCA), AHB (Automatic High Beam), RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert), Automatic Head Light & Front Rain Sensor Wiper, Multi Around Monitor, AYC (Active Yaw Control) SRS Airbags, Side Airbags, Curtain Airbags, Keyless Operation System and Immobilizer.

Meanwhile, the other two variants only include Cruise Control (Exceed type), Rear View Camera, SRS Airbags, Side Airbags, Keyless Operation System and Immobilizer.

For the premium package, which can only be added to the Ultimate variant for Rp 30 million, consumers will get a Hands Free Electric Power Tailgate, Power Seat Adjuster and Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium (8 Speakers).
