KatadataOTOMitsubishi Xforce has become one of the cars that has captured public attention. This is because it is claimed to have several advantages.

Such as offering a compact body, excellent handling, comfort, and a spacious interior.

Additionally, the Mitsubishi Xforce has a range of modern features. Take the presence of Active Yaw Control (AYC) for example.

This feature is a technology that makes the car's handling more precise. It also makes it stable and responsive, especially when maneuvering around corners.

It works by limiting wheel rotation through a combination of various sensors. It then combines data from the ABS, throttle sensor, engine speed, and steering angle.

On the Mitsubishi Xforce, this feature will work when the driver uses a driving mode other than Normal or Mud.

“The AYC feature is like this, its preventive action is double. Because all matters related to slipping are anticipated by what's called traction control, ASC or Automatic Stability Control,” said Rifat Sungkar, Brand Ambassador for Mitsubishi Motors in an official statement on Wednesday (29/10).

Rifat explained that the AYC feature on the Mitsubishi Xforce will actively regulate braking to better balance the wheel load when cornering.

As a result, the car remains stable and doesn't feel like it's drifting outwards. This is quite helpful on winding roads or when having to make sharp turns.

Then, when the driver turns the steering wheel, the vehicle's movement feels responsive to your input.

Thanks to AYC, owners are more confident and feel connected to the vehicle. Even when pushing the Mitsubishi Xforce at high speeds or traversing less-than-ideal road conditions.

“But the advanced part is, when the ASC system is engaged and it wants to maintain the car without swaying at a certain speed, AYC kicks in. This is an advanced feature because it provides double protection for stability,” Rifat continued.

AYC on the Mitsubishi Xforce is also able to reduce the risk of understeer. Especially when the car has difficulty turning and tends to go against the steering direction.
