Transmission options include a four-speed automatic and a five-speed manual. The drive system still uses front-wheel drive.

A number of modern features are also embedded in the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross. Including ABS + EBD, Brake Assist, 3-point seatbelts, Isofix, Active Stability & Traction Control, and Hill Start Assist.
Next, there are Parking Sensor + Rear View Camera, Keyless Operation System, and Immobilizer with Security Alarm.
In addition, the Xpander Cross also gets a Multi-around monitor that displays a 360-degree view around the vehicle.
