Mitsubishi's Latest Electric Car Revealed, Ready to Challenge Hyundai Kona

MMKSI showcases a variety of modification ideas for Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Xpander, and Xforce at GJAW 2025.

KatadataOTO – Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) made a different appearance at GJAW 2025. They brought their flagship products to ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Starting from the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Destinator, Xforce to the Xpander were displayed to entice visitors.
Moreover, they featured various thematic areas, reflecting the 'Empowering Every Journey' philosophy and the 'Reliable Partner for Decades' spirit.
“All of this is part of our effort to strengthen the emotional connection with customers and continue to adapt to their needs,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of MMKSI at GJAW 2025.
One of the highlights was their special inspirational display area. Designed as a visual exploration space, it showcased various thematic vehicle arrangement concepts.
Tailored to styles for families who love long journeys, outdoor & off-road activities, as well as the Active Urban Lifestyle Concept, representing a dynamic urban life.
First, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross was presented with the theme ‘Comfort & Outdoor Adventure with Family’, combining the joy of outdoor activities with family and comfort.
The Japanese brand equipped it with a roof box to store belongings. A side awning was also provided for those who want to go camping.
For the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, MMKSI presented the ‘Exploring & Excitement’ concept, combining the product's toughness in driving on various terrains with the expression of adventurous joy.
There were several changes to this four-wheeled vehicle, starting with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in A/T tires. Mitsubishi also added over-fenders.
This makes the Pajero Sport look even more rugged. To add convenience, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was equipped with a roof rack to carry belongings.
For those who enjoy cycling, the rear of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was fitted with a bicycle rack.
As for the interior, Mitsubishi equipped the Pajero Sport with an entertainment and audio system from Alpine, ready to pamper the owners during their journey.
Moving on to the Mitsubishi Destinator, MMKSI featured the ‘Premium & Touring with Family’ theme, combining luxury and comfort for family adventures.
MMKSI sought to strengthen the Destinator's rugged impression by fitting it with 18-inch alloy wheels, A/T tires, and a roof rack with a side awning.
Celebrating 55 years of Mitsubishi Motors in Indonesia, this vehicle becomes a symbol of modern family adventure, exploring various destinations with pride.
Lastly, the Mitsubishi Xforce was also given a touch of light modification. This car specifically emphasizes the ‘Urban & Sporty’ concept.
