KatadataOTO – Various safety features are embedded in new cars. One of them is the Mitsubishi Xforce.
The four-wheeled vehicle is now equipped with Diamond Sense. It is claimed to provide more safety to the owner while driving.
Diamond Sense has been proven to minimize the number of fatalities on the road by reducing the possibility of human error.
It can also help the driver avoid collisions with other vehicles on the highway.
Furthermore, it can also reduce the risk of accidents due to a drowsy driver or microsleep. Then it warns you with sound and visuals on the meter panel.
Some of the superior features of Diamond Sense in the Mitsubishi Xforce are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow.
It functions to help maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, even at very low speeds.
Then there is also Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM). This system detects potential collisions and automatically brakes to reduce the risk of an accident.
Blind Spot Warning (BSW) is also present in the Mitsubishi Xforce. It is useful for warning the driver about vehicles in the blind spot.
This Japanese brand also includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). It can help detect traffic behind when reversing the vehicle.
There is also Hill Start Assist or HSA, which prevents your Mitsubishi Xforce from rolling back when stopped on a hill.
Not to be missed is the Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN). It can notify the driver when the vehicle in front starts moving after a stop.
The next feature is Auto High Beam (AHB). Its function is to automatically adjust the high beams, thus improving visibility at night.
In addition to the list of safety features above, the Mitsubishi Xforce also has four driving modes, which can be adjusted according to the owner's needs. Such as Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
"With this feature, the driver can set it up when the road surface changes. For example, normal mode when on asphalt so the performance can be adjusted,” said Rifat Sungkar, Brand Ambassador for Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia, through an official statement on Monday (28/04).
