KatadataOTO – The film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning involves several interesting cars. This includes the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Gladiator, which are used in several scenes.

The presence of these two models is claimed to be a perfect match for the character of Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise. He uses them to perform several exciting scenes.

“There are two cars featured in the film: the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Gladiator. Each has only been slightly modified for filming purposes,” said Ario Soerjo, COO of Jeep Indonesia in Jakarta (30/05).

It should be noted that the Jeep Wrangler 4xe uses a 2,000 cc 4-cylinder turbo plug-in hybrid engine. The unit is also equipped with two electric motors that support fuel efficiency.

The combination of the two is capable of producing 375 hp and 637 Nm of torque. The Wrangler 4xe's performance is showcased when Ethan Hunt uses it to tackle rocky terrain inside a cave.

The car has been modified without a roof or doors. This scene reflects Jeep's design, which allows for an open-air configuration for a more extreme driving experience and its ability to handle tough terrain.

Then, a Firecracker Red Jeep Gladiator is also featured to complete the mission. The car has been modified without a roof and doors, showcasing its flexibility for the journey.

Various active safety technologies have also been embedded to protect the driver and passengers.

Just Launched a New Product

Since being managed by Indomobil, Jeep Indonesia has just launched one new model, the Wrangler 4 Door Rubicon. The vehicle is equipped with a 2,000 cc GMET4 DOHC Turbocharged engine.

The powertrain is claimed to be able to produce 266.3 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This power is then combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep Wrangler 4 Door Rubicon is equipped with a Rock-Track full-time 4x4 system to provide optimal performance. There are also Tru-Lok front & rear axle lockers, which allow all four wheels to move in unison for maximum traction.

Meanwhile, the electronic front sway bar disconnect provides extra flexibility for the front suspension. This combination is believed to provide a maximum driving experience for customers.
