Hybrid Car Prices January 2025, Innova Zenix Up by Around Rp 4 Million

KatadataOTO – The government has officially provided a three percent incentive for hybrid cars with certain requirements that can be followed by domestic manufacturers. This has the potential to make hybrid car prices more competitive.

However, the technical guidelines and further provisions related to the incentive have not yet been detailed. But there are several candidate models proposed by HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) manufacturing brands.

Such as PT TAM (Toyota Astra Motor), namely the Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid and Yaris Cross HEV. Toyota has confirmed that the price of their hybrid cars will certainly decrease once they receive the incentive.

If TKDN (Local Component Level) is one of the requirements, another product that could potentially be included in the program is the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid.

Then, manufacturers like GWM have also started to locally assemble their products, such as the Haval Jolion SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle).

Based on KatadataOTO's search on Wednesday (8/1), most hybrid car prices remain stable except for the Kijang Innova Zenix HEV G type. That model experienced an increase of Rp 4.5 million from last month.
