In fact, a number of salespeople have already opened pre-orders for the new Mitsubishi car.

"Pre-orders are open for the (Mitsubishi Destinator), with a down payment of just Rp 5 million," revealed a Mitsubishi salesperson in the Bekasi area, West Java, to KatadataOTO today, Wednesday (09/07).

He further confirmed that the new four-wheeled vehicle will be launched in the near future.

Then, the price of the Mitsubishi Destinator will range around the Rp 400 million mark. The most expensive variant will be priced at Rp 500 million,

A similar statement was echoed by another Mitsubishi salesperson. He also said that the Destinator will be launched in the middle of this month.

Therefore, customers interested in buying the Mitsubishi Destinator can place their orders now.

This way, they can avoid the long waiting lists that are common for new cars.

"If it turns out you don't like the car or its price, the money is 100 percent refundable without any deductions," he said.

The salesperson explained that the Mitsubishi Destinator is the DST Concept that was exhibited some time ago.

For instance, through a post on their official Instagram. The three-diamond brand posted a black box with the text "Ready to Uncover Your Next Destination."

The post reinforces the imminent arrival of the Mitsubishi Destinator.

According to circulating rumors, the Mitsubishi Destinator will feature a 1,500 cc turbo engine.

On the other hand, the arrival of the Mitsubishi Destinator has been anticipated since 2023. This was known from the vehicle's registration in the Intellectual Property Database of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

On the site, the Mitsubishi Destinator was registered on March 20, 2023, with the number IDM001069857.

This car was registered by Mitsubishi Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha, the same entity that registered other Mitsubishi models like the Xpander and Xpander Cross.

The arrival of this new four-wheeled vehicle is said to fill the gap between the Mitsubishi XForce and the Pajero Sport.
