KatadataOTO – PT TAM (Toyota Astra Motor) revealed that two of their hybrid car models meet the requirements to receive incentives from the government, namely the Kijang Innova Zenix HEV and Yaris Cross HEV.

Although it is effective starting January 1, 2025, the process was slightly delayed because the technical and implementation guidelines had not yet been announced to manufacturers.

However, after clarification, the prices of the Toyota Innova Zenix HEV and Yaris Cross HEV are confirmed to drop by tens of millions. This raises questions about the fate of consumers who made purchases during the January-February 2025 period.

PT TAM (Toyota Astra Motor) confirmed that consumers will still receive benefits and get a refund for the price difference after the hybrid car incentive.

“Indeed, the incentive is effective from January 2025. For purchases made up to February 14, there will be a tax refund. But it is the dealer who will communicate the procedure to the consumer,” said Philardi Sobari, Head of PR at PT TAM (Toyota Astra Motor) on the sidelines of IIMS 2025, JIExpo Kemayoran, Tuesday (18/2).

Regarding the price reduction, he explained that the price of the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix could be reduced by up to Rp 13 million.

“We are still communicating with our dealer partners and consumers,” he affirmed.

For your information, the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix is offered starting from the Rp 400 million range. Below, KatadataOTO summarizes the prices, which have already seen a decrease compared to early February.
