Immanuel Ebenezer Received Ducati Motorcycle During KPK Sting Operation

KatadataOTO – The name Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan (IEG) continues to be a topic of public discussion. This comes after he was caught in a Sting Operation (OTT) by the KPK some time ago.

The Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) is suspected of knowing about alleged extortion practices in the processing of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certificates.

“Mr. IEG received (money) Rp 3 billion in December 2024,” said Setyo Budiyanto, Chairman of the KPK, to Antara on Saturday (23/08).

Besides receiving the bribe money, this aide to President Prabowo Subianto is also said to have received a large motorcycle (moge) from Italy.

“I forget the license plate number, if I'm not mistaken it's bravo, B 2445, blue, a Ducati,” Setyo continued.

Unfortunately, Setyo Budiyanto did not provide detailed information regarding the Ducati motorcycle received by Immanuel Ebenezer, including the type and model of the two-wheeled vehicle.

Setyo only explained that the Ducati motorcycle was purchased in April 2025. However, as of this month, the vehicle registration documents have not yet been processed.

Starting from the Vehicle Ownership Book (BPKB) to the Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) to make it legal for use on public roads.

“This at least indicates an attempt to keep it unknown for now, by fitting it with a blank license plate. We don't know where it came from, that will be investigated further,” the KPK Chairman affirmed.

As a reminder, the KPK has confiscated 22 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles in the corruption case involving Immanuel Ebenezer.

According to the KPK, of the total number, 15 units are cars. Then there are seven motorcycles with quite fantastic prices.

For example, four Ducati motorcycles and two Vespa Matics. In addition, the KPK also seized a Hyundai Palisade and a Nissan GT-R R35.

For their actions, the Deputy Minister of Manpower along with other suspects are charged under Article 12 letter (e) and/or Article 12B of Law No. 31 of 1999.
