An increase in the Bogor Ring Road toll tariff is scheduled to take effect tomorrow, Wednesday (23/04).

KatadataOTO – A number of toll road tariffs will increase in April 2025. One of them is the Bogor Ring Road ( BORR ) or on the Simpang Yasmin-Semplak section.

The regulation will be officially implemented starting tomorrow, Wednesday (23/04) at 00:00 WIB. Therefore, drivers must prepare more electronic money.

“This tariff adjustment is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Public Works (PU) number 398/KPTS/M/2025,” announced Marga Sarana Jabar as the operator of the Toll BORR on their official website, Tuesday (22/04).

According to them, the above regulation discusses the determination of motor vehicle types and tariff adjustments on the Bogor Ring Road Toll Road.

Furthermore, the increase is also stated in Article 48 paragraph (3) of Law (UU) number 38 of 2004 concerning Roads as has been amended several times, most recently in Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 38 of 2004 concerning Roads.

It is also stated in Article 83 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation Number 23 of 2024 concerning Toll Roads, that the evaluation and adjustment of toll tariffs are carried out by the Minister every two years based on the influence of the inflation rate and an evaluation of the provision of toll road Minimum Service Standards.

Meanwhile, this toll tariff adjustment uses the inflation rate for the period of January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, which is 5.05 percent.

“This tariff adjustment is necessary to ensure a conducive investment climate for toll roads, maintain the trust of investors and market players in the prospective toll road industry in Indonesia,” they continued.

It also ensures that the services of the toll road operator remain in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for toll roads.

It should be noted that the Bogor Ring Road Toll is divided into several sections with a total length of about 11.3 km.

It consists of the Sentul-Kedung Halang, Kedung Halang-Kedung Badak, Kedung Badak-Simpang Yasmin, and Simpang Yasmin-Simpang Semplak sections.
