KatadataOTO – All preparations are being made by the government to welcome the mudik Lebaran 2025 homecoming. As carried out by the Minister of Transportation (Menhub).

He is providing a toll tariff discount to be used by four-wheeled vehicle users during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.

The amount is not just 20 percent, but up to 30 percent. However, there are certain conditions to get it.

“If it is necessary to divert to a slightly longer route, then Jasa Marga will provide a discount of up to 30 percent,” said Dudy Purwagandhi, Minister of Transportation, to Antara on Tuesday (11/03).

However, this aide to President Prabowo Subianto did not explain the above policy in detail.

Dudy only confirmed that people going home for Lebaran 2025 will receive a larger discount.

Thus, the government hopes to ease the burden on toll road users. And maintain the smooth flow of return traffic for Lebaran 2025.

Furthermore, it aims to improve vehicle distribution on the available routes, thereby minimizing vehicle congestion.

For your information, previously AHY (Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono), Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Development, revealed that there would be a 20 percent toll tariff discount.

This decision was made to make it easier for people who want to return to their hometowns during the upcoming homecoming season.

“The Ministry of Public Works (PU) has coordinated, for land road users there is a 20 percent discount for toll tariffs on a number of or various road sections in Indonesia,” said AHY.

According to AHY, providing a discount can reduce the land travel costs for homecoming travelers, so they don't need to prepare too much money.

As a reminder, the toll tariff discount is given for six days during the Lebaran 2025 holiday period on a number of toll roads on the island of Java.

The schedule starts from March 24-27, 2025, as well as two days after Lebaran, namely from April 8 to 9, 2025.

"The toll tariff discount is provided from Jakarta to Semarang and vice versa on the Trans-Java toll road sections. The amount is 20 percent for all vehicle classes," said Subakti Syukur, President Director of Jasa Marga, on a different occasion.

The routes that will receive the discount are the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, the MBZ elevated road, Palikanci, Batang-Semarang, and Semarang ABC.
