KatadataOTO – Currently, electrification is not only happening in the motorcycle and car segments. But it is also progressing in industrial equipment.
Understanding work safety has become increasingly crucial. Therefore, it requires the attention of many parties.
Based on the facts above, Swadaya Harapan Nusantara organized a training on safety and the use of safety equipment for electric forklifts.
The activity was not held alone; they partnered with Famindo Alfa Spektrum Teknologi (FAST) as a technical partner.
This training received a positive response. It was attended by operators, technicians, and safety personnel from various work units.
The activity also aims to increase the readiness of operational personnel in facing risks in the field. Especially related to the use of electric forklifts, which are now increasingly common.
“Steps like this demonstrate the industry's strong commitment to ensuring the transition to electric technology is safe, sustainable, and responsible,” said Willy Hadiwijaya, CEO of FAST, in an official statement on Monday (27/10).
Willy explained that through the training, participants gained a deep understanding of the characteristics of the lithium-ion battery system in electric forklifts.
In addition, they also understood the safety mechanisms designed to minimize the risk of fire. And the evacuation process in case of an emergency.
Furthermore, participants were also given an understanding of initial handling techniques using the Hartindo AF31 Lithium Fire Killer (LFK).
A special fire extinguisher or liquid designed to stop the chain reaction or thermal runaway of lithium batteries in electric forklifts.
Moreover, the Hartindo AF31 Lithium Fire Killer is claimed to have been proven internationally effective in handling electric vehicle fires.
Additionally, the training session was guided directly by the FAST technical team. It combined theoretical delivery with field demonstrations.
This practical approach helps training participants understand and apply safety measures according to actual operational conditions.
Therefore, this activity is part of Swadaya Harapan Nusantara's ongoing efforts to strengthen the safety culture in the work environment.
In the future, similar training will continue to be held at various company operational locations. This is to ensure that the entire workforce has optimal competence and preparedness.
Especially in supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of electrical equipment in the business world.
It is worth noting that Traktor Nusantara and Swadaya Harapan Nusantara have been operating since 1983.
They are known as a complete solution provider for unit and industrial equipment rentals, for both short and long terms.
