Affordable SUV Price List January 2025, Starting from Rp 200 Million

There have still been no price adjustments resulting from the 12 percent VAT. Below is the price list for affordable SUVs as of January 2025.

KatadataOTO – The increase in VAT (Value Added Tax) from 11 percent to 12 percent is believed to affect the OTR (On The Road) price of cars, including the affordable SUV line in the Rp 300 million range currently offered to consumers.

However, based on KatadataOTO's search on Tuesday (7/1), the price of affordable SUVs as of January 2025 is the same as the previous month. Many manufacturers have not yet adjusted their prices.

There are a number of interesting models to consider. For example, the affordable 5-seater SUV Toyota Raize, is sold from Rp 238.7 million to Rp 273.2 million for its highest GR Sport type.

If you are interested in a three-row configuration model, there are the Toyota Rush, Daihatsu Terios, Suzuki XL7, and the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross.

One of Chery's newest products, the Tiggo 8, is still being sold at the same price as its launch, starting from Rp 349.5 million. It should be noted that the manufacturer has revealed that there is a chance this figure will increase in the future.

Besides affordable gasoline-engine SUVs, Suzuki offers an environmentally friendly vehicle option equipped with mild hybrid technology, such as the Suzuki XL7. Its price has not been adjusted since December 2024, ranging from Rp 260.2 million to Rp 300 million.

Other brands including Honda, Wuling, and Hyundai have also been observed to have not raised the prices of the affordable SUVs they offer.
