KatadataOTO – The selection of hybrid cars in Indonesia is becoming more attractive after the government provided incentives for vehicle lines that have met the criteria. For example, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid.

Thanks to the subsidy, at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025, Suzuki announced a price reduction for its hybrid vehicle models.

Toyota also did something similar for the Kijang Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross Hybrid at the event. The prices of both models dropped by up to IDR 11 million.

Based on KatadataOTO's search today, Thursday (10/04), several manufacturers have made price adjustments.

PT SIS (Suzuki Indomobil Sales) has again lowered the prices of the Ertiga Cruise Hybrid and XL7 in the range of IDR 900 thousand to IDR 4 million.

Meanwhile, PT TAM (Toyota Astra Motor) is still maintaining the prices of all its hybrid cars, including those subject to the three percent tax subsidy.

South Korean brand, Hyundai, had raised the price of the Santa Fe in February 2025. But as of April 2025, the figure has not changed.

Newcomers from China are also joining the fray. There is the Jaecoo J7 SHS which launched at IIMS 2025, with an estimated price of IDR 599 million.

This certainly becomes an attractive alternative when compared to its competitors like the Honda CR-V e:HEV, offered at around IDR 800 million.
