The Destinator's passive safety features include the Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body. The car's body is designed using high-grade steel material.
Thus, it is able to absorb impact energy from various directions. So in the event of an accident, the cabin space is claimed to remain intact.
Then there are six SRS Airbags located on the dashboard, sides, and windows. This feature works using sensors and activates within milliseconds.
Then there are also seat belts with pretensioners and force limiters. The first feature is useful for tightening the belt during an impact.

There are also active safety features wrapped in Mitsubishi's signature Diamond Sense technology.
Starting from ABS, EBD to BA which support each other, providing safety during braking.
In the handling sector, it is equipped with the AYC feature which is claimed to improve stability when cornering. Relying on smart sensors, each wheel is adjusted to be able to maneuver more safely.
