KatadataOTO – The Lepas L8 has finally officially hit the roads in Indonesia. This environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicle was just launched at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025.

The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is believed to be able to attract the attention of national automotive enthusiasts.

"With the Lepas L8, we are entering a new era of elegant driving with an abundance of new technology and a premium feel," said Arga Simanjuntak, Head of Marketing for Lepas Indonesia at ICE BSD, Tangerang today, Friday (21/11).

Such as the Leopard-Eye Headlights to the semi-concealed Door Handle and full LED Taillights.

Inside the cabin, Lepas owners can get more comfort in the L8.

As a daily car, there is a digital instrument panel. It is useful for displaying various features, such as entertainment and others.

Then, the layout of the buttons is made very compact. So Lepas L8 owners can adapt quickly.

Most interesting are the safety features offered. Because the Lepas L8 is embedded with the latest ADAS technology.

Consisting of APA Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA). Both features allow the vehicle to park itself without driver assistance.

The innovation above is believed to be able to reduce the driver's stress level, especially when parking in tight spots.

So you don't have to bother parking the vehicle. The owner can simply rely on this feature.

Unfortunately, this brand from China is not yet willing to disclose the detailed specifications of their Electric Vehicle (EV).

However, Lepas claims, their hybrid car is capable of traveling a combined distance with the engine and battery of up to 1,300 km. With just the embedded power storage, it can travel up to 100 km.
