KatadataOTO – 5,000 units of the Tiggo Series Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) have been delivered to customers in Indonesia. This handover was carried out symbolically on January 24, 2026, and is expected to continue to increase as Chery's market in the country grows.

Moreover, the Chinese manufacturer is committed to continuously launching New Energy Vehicles in Indonesia in 2026.

“The CSH first launched in May 2025 and now contributes 29 percent of Chery's total sales in Indonesia. The actual number is already around 5,500 units,” said Budi Darmawan Jantania, Vice Country Director of Chery Business Unit (24/01).

He also estimates that the number will be even greater in 2026. This is because they plan to launch several new models with CSH technology in Indonesia.

Thus, it is not impossible that the number will be larger than it is now. Moreover, they see that the Indonesian market is now increasingly accepting environmentally friendly vehicles as the primary means of transportation.

“From Chery's perspective, the hybrid trend in Indonesia will continue to strengthen. Because globally, there is also an increase,” he then added.

It should be noted that Chery currently has at least three models that feature CSH technology. They are the Tiggo 9 CSH, Tiggo 8 CSH, and Tiggo Cross CSH.

“We would like to thank Indonesian consumers for their trust in Chery. Indonesia will continue to be a strategic market for us with the arrival of the latest technology,” said Zeng Shuo, President Director of Chery Sales Indonesia.

Introducing More Products

In 2026, Chery has also committed to launching more vehicles in Indonesia. Impressively, the Chinese manufacturer plans to introduce seven models to the country.
