The available driving modes are many, such as Sport, Normal, Eco, and the GR Four system optimization includes Normal, Gravel, and Track.

The GR Four model range adjusts power distribution to the front and rear wheels according to the needs and the track being driven by the driver.

The dashboard is tilted 15 degrees more towards the driver, making it easier to operate features and entertainment functions.

“So this provides an option for consumers. Because the image of the GR Pure is manual, but there are consumers who need an automatic transmission (variant),” Anton emphasized.

Seeing the positive consumer response, Toyota plans to introduce other GR models to the Indonesian market. One of them is likely to arrive in the middle of the year.

“There is definitely a study (for the introduction of a new road-legal GR model), maybe at GIIAS. Just wait and see,” he asserted.

Consumer interest in high-performance automatic transmission cars is also seen in other brands. The South Korean automotive manufacturer, Hyundai, has a high-performance model, the electric car Ioniq 5 N
