KatadataOTO – Entering the beginning of the month, it's time for Pertamina to adjust the prices of their Fuel Oil (BBM) sold to the public in Indonesia.
Reporting from Pertamina's official website on Friday (01/08) morning, a number of prices for the state-owned company's products have decreased.
Take for example the price of non-subsidized fuel type Pertamax, from the original Rp 12,500 per liter, it is now Rp 12,200 per liter.
In addition, Pertamax Turbo also decreased in August 2025. It is now sold at Rp 13,200 per liter, down from Rp 13,500 per liter.
On the other hand, the prices of other types of Pertamina fuel have actually increased. For example, Dexlite rose to Rp 13,850 per liter from Rp 13,320 per liter.
Pertamina Dex experienced a similar situation. The state-owned company now sells it at a price of Rp 14,150 per liter, whereas it was previously only Rp 13,650 per liter.
This fuel price change applies to all Pertamina gas stations. Both in Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, and Bali.
“PT Pertamina (Persero) is adjusting the price of general fuel oil (BBM) in order to implement the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Base Price Formula in the Calculation of Retail Selling Prices for General Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations," Pertamina wrote on their official website.
On the other hand, the price of subsidized Pertamina fuel is observed to have not changed. Pertalite is still offered at Rp 10 thousand per liter.
Meanwhile, subsidized Solar can still be purchased for Rp 6,800 per liter in August 2025.
