KatadataOTO – Ahead of the new year, Pertamina has raised the price of their fuel (BBM). The decision is effective starting today, Monday (01/12).
According to Pertamina's official website, the price of several non-subsidized fuels has slightly increased. For example, Pertamax has gone from Rp 12,200 to Rp 12,750 per liter.
Then, the price of Pertamax Turbo is now Rp 13,750. Whereas in November 2025, it was only around Rp 13,100 per liter.
Pertamax Green is also not exempt from the adjustment. Pertamina is selling this product at Rp 13,500 per liter.
Meanwhile, for Dexlite users, they must prepare Rp 14,700 to buy the fuel in December 2025.
The price of Pertamina Dex fuel has also increased ahead of the New Year. This state-owned company is now selling it for Rp 15,000 per liter.
“The price adjustment for General Fuel (BBM) is in the context of implementing the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kepmen ESDM) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Ministerial Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Base Price Formula for Calculating the Retail Selling Price of General Fuel Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations,” wrote Pertamina on their official website.
On the other hand, the price of Pertamina's subsidized fuel has not increased. Pertalite remains priced at Rp 10,000 per liter.
Meanwhile, subsidized diesel has also not increased; it can still be purchased for Rp 6,800 per liter in December 2025.
For your information, the fuel prices above are valid for the DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and surrounding areas.
For other regions, there are slight differences. Here, KatadataOTO summarizes the fuel prices across all regions of Indonesia.
