10 Best-selling Hybrid Cars in Indonesia 2024, Innova Zenix Leads

KatadataOTO – Hybrid car wholesales (distribution from factory to dealer) throughout 2024 increased by 5,145 units compared to last year, reaching 57,713 units, a growth of about 0.09 percent.

For your information, hybrid car wholesales in 2023 were 52,568 units. Same as last year, the model with the highest achievement was the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix.

However, its wholesales slightly decreased, from 27,705 units to 26,470 units. Following in second place is the XL7 Hybrid, which actually saw an increase compared to 2023, from 7,898 units to 10,128 units.

Then, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid still occupies the third position with wholesales of 4,188 units, followed by the Toyota Yaris Cross HEV with 4,114 units.

The Honda CR-V e:HEV, previously in fifth place, was replaced by the Toyota Alphard HEV, with wholesales of 3,838 units. Nevertheless, the CR-V e:HEV saw an increase from 1,527 units to 2,373 units throughout 2024. 

The Toyota Yaris Cross also still holds the same rank as last year, but its numbers dropped from 5,476 units to 4,114 units.

Luxury MPVs are starting to show positive results. Besides the Toyota Alphard HEV, there is the Lexus LM 350h 7-seater in seventh place with wholesales of 1,157 units.

Then, the Nissan Serena e-Power ranked eighth with 740 units and the Toyota Vellfire HEV with 510 units.

Newcomer Hyundai Santa Fe HEV is catching up in 11th place. Just launched towards the end of 2024, the hybrid type of the latest generation Santa Fe was distributed for a total of 453 units.
