KatadataOTO – The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 is about a month away.
Many manufacturers want to take advantage of this momentum to launch new products.
As is being planned by BYD Indonesia. They are reportedly preparing a new electric car.
"We plan to bring several models. Hopefully, each brand will have a champion, both BYD and Denza," said Luther T. Panjaitan, Head of Public and Government Relations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia in Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/06).
Although they did not specify which product they want to launch at ICE BSD, Tangerang. However, it is highly likely to be the Denza Z9 GT.
Moreover, this electric vehicle (EV) has already greeted automotive enthusiasts at the IIMS 2024 event.
"I can't confirm yet that what we will be launching is the Z9 GT. Although the rumors are indeed pointing that way," he continued.
Luther also revealed that Denza is always committed to meeting consumer needs, especially for enthusiasts of premium and sporty cars.
In addition, they claim they will make the most of GIIAS 2025 to introduce a new electrification lineup.
"Hopefully, one of the units I want to present is something we will bring (to GIIAS 2025). Maybe be a little patient, it's just one more month," Luther affirmed.
Just a reminder, the Denza Z9 GT electric car has been available for pre-order for some time now.
"It's about to be launched, but it's already available for pre-order,” said a BYD salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on a separate occasion.
Although there is no official price yet, he confirmed the estimated price for the Denza Z9 GT is Rp 1.3 billion.
More expensive than the Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) already offered by Denza, the D9.
The Denza D9 is now sold for around Rp 950 million On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.
