Estimated Price of Chery C5 CSH Debuting at IIMS 2026

KatadataOTO – PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is ready to bring one of their new products to domestic consumers, namely Chery C5 CSH.

Chery C5 CSH carries an exterior design concept the same as the C5 or the refreshed Omoda 5. However, its interior is adopted from the E5 and its heart is equipped with hybrid technology.

Unlike the Tiggo 8, which is a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), the C5 is a hybrid like the Tiggo Cross.

The model will be presented to customers at the Indonesia International Motor Show or IIMS 2026.

Currently, Chery claims to be conducting a survey to determine the right price for the C5 CSH.

However, it can be confirmed that the price of the Chery C5 CSH is above the Tiggo Cross. As an illustration, that compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) is priced around IDR 300 million.

“Because its segment (Chery C5 CSH) is indeed above the Tiggo Cross CSH,” said Budi Darmawan, Vice Country Director of Chery Business Unit when interviewed in Semarang on Wednesday (28/01).

Budi continues, the Chery C5 CSH could become a new option for consumers who want to upgrade from the Tiggo Cross CSH, which is an entry-level hybrid car.

There is a chance that the price of the Chery C5 CSH will not differ much from its gasoline engine variants, namely the Chery C5 Z and RZ models.

For example, the Chery C5 Z is priced around IDR 319.9 million, while the top RZ model costs about IDR 349.9 million.

Later, the price of the Chery C5 CSH is likely to be between IDR 350 million and IDR 400 million or more.

“(The price) is not final yet, so we want to hear feedback on what it might be,” Budi emphasized.

For information, the Chery C5 CSH is a crossover SUV with dimensions of 4,447 mm length, 1,824 mm width, 1,588 mm height, and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.

The design is not much different from the conventional-engine Chery C5. This hybrid version uses a 1,500 cc TGDI engine equipped with a battery of 1.83 kWh capacity.

This car will complement Chery's lineup of environmentally friendly vehicles in the Indonesian market together with the Tiggo Cross CSH, Tiggo 8 CSH, E5 and J6.
