KatadataOTO – The GIIAS 2025 automotive exhibition is held for 11 days from July 24 to August 3. This event serves as a platform for various brands to introduce their vehicle lineups to the public.

Several brands chose to release new models, either for immediate sale or just for an initial introduction.

There were also Chinese manufacturers who decided to adjust their prices to attract consumers amidst weakening purchasing power.

After the GIIAS 2025 event, some brands have already published their achievements at the exhibition.

Out of 39 passenger car brands, about 13 have announced their Vehicle Order Letter or SPK achievements, with a total of 27,967 bookings.

In first place is Toyota. Although they have not announced their final results, it is known that after eight days, they managed to record 4,250 bookings (SPK).

This number could still increase as the exhibition had not yet concluded at that time. The Kijang Innova Zenix is cited as the largest contributor, with consumers tending to choose the hybrid type.

BYD and Denza are the Chinese brands that successfully entered the top three brands with the most bookings, at 4,195 units.

Although not detailed by model, it is known that their newest model, the Atto 1, was highly sought after by customers and contributed many bookings.

BYD's bookings at GIIAS 2025 increased sharply compared to the GIIAS 2024 event (2,290 bookings).

Meanwhile, in third place is Mitsubishi with 4,195 bookings. Its 7-seater Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) product was in high demand among customers.

On the other hand, Hyundai experienced a decrease in bookings from GIIAS 2024. It is currently in fifth place with 3,017 bookings; last year, the South Korean brand collected 3,606 bookings.

This is despite PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) having just launched the new Stargazer Cartenz model to boost sales.
