GR Garage Gets a New Look and New Facilities

KatadataOTO – For racing fans, GR Garage is certainly not an unfamiliar place. This workshop was presented by Auto2000 to meet the needs of customers who want to modify their cars for more optimal performance.

Since its opening in September 2023, this place has received a positive response from its customers. However, Auto2000 still wants to develop the place to provide a new experience.

Unlike before, the exterior of GR Garage has now been made to resemble a racing paddock. Thus, the sporty impression is even stronger.

“When we first opened, the appearance was very simple and still resembled a shophouse because there was only the GR Garage and Auto2000 lettering. Now we have changed its appearance to give a more modern impression yet thick with a racing aura,” said Yagimin, Chief Marketing of Auto2000.

Not only the appearance, Auto2000 has also added several facilities to support visitor comfort. One that is believed to be very important is a lift to make access up and down easier.

It should be noted that GR Garage is located at Ruko Soho Ebony Paradise Blok B No. 10-11 Ebony 2 (Riverwalk - Pantai Kita) PIK 2, Kapuk Muara, North Jakarta. The three-story workshop stands on a 288 m2 plot of land.

The ground floor provides workshop facilities equipped with a dyno and service stalls. In addition, they now also feature a GR car as a display.

Up on the 2nd floor, there is a lounge and café for waiting or as a community meeting location. In addition, there is also a 4D racing simulator that features several circuits.

Meanwhile, on the 3rd floor, there is a multifunction area and co-working space, as well as a prayer room.

The complete facilities make many people interested in coming. The number is claimed to reach dozens every day.

“The daily visitors at GR Garage are around 30 to 40 people. Not all of them want to get service or modifications, as many also just want to discuss vehicle modifications with the mechanics,” said Anton Jimmi Suwandy, CEO of Auto2000.

Nevertheless, the number of units worked on also varies, ranging from two to six units per day.
