Hybrid Car Price List May 2025, Awaiting the Arrival of Fronx

KatadataOTO – The hybrid car market in Indonesia is becoming more diverse and will see the arrival of several new models this year.

With more competitive prices compared to electric cars, HEVs (Hybrid Electric Vehicles) are the right option if you want to use an environmentally friendly vehicle.

Interestingly, several vehicle models receive incentives or subsidies from the government for meeting the requirements, one of which is being locally assembled.

As a result, locally assembled models from Toyota and Suzuki have undergone price adjustments and become more affordable. The OTR (on the road) prices of several variants dropped by up to IDR 10 million as of February 2025.

For your information, the models that receive incentives include the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix HEV, Yaris Cross HEV, Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid, and XL7 Hybrid.

Based on KatadataOTO's search on Tuesday (06/05), the prices of hybrid cars in Indonesia as of May 2025 remain stable. None have undergone price adjustments like last month.

The prices range from IDR 200 million to over IDR 1 billion. If you are interested in a hybrid car with a manual transmission, you can consider models from Suzuki.

Towards the end of May 2025, there will be a newcomer from Suzuki, the Fronx. Although it has not yet been launched, consumers can already place orders at the nearest dealers.
