KatadataOTO – Jaecoo, one of the sub-brands of the Chery Group, is ready to present various new vehicle lines for Indonesian consumers next year.

It should be noted that Jaecoo in Indonesia will later sell the car line from the Omoda series, previously offered by Chery Sales Indonesia.

Jaecoo Indonesia has confirmed that more than three new products will be presented to customers. Some of them will be present at the Indonesia International Motor Show or IIMS 2026.

“Definitely more than three products. We as a brand will always present surprises (for consumers),” said Willy Winawan, Head of Sales for Jaecoo Indonesia in Tangerang some time ago.

However, Willy is still tight-lipped about information regarding the type or segment of cars that Jaecoo will offer in 2026.

But considering they will be selling the Omoda series, it is highly likely that Jaecoo's products will fill the 5-seater compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment.

Then, the cars from Jaecoo will focus on New Energy Vehicles (NEV), also known as environmentally friendly vehicles.

“Renewable energy, whether it's Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), or Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV),” Willy affirmed.

One model that has a chance of entering Indonesia in the near future is the Omoda O4. This compact SUV has been considered for entry into Indonesia.

Similar to the Omoda 5 presented by Chery Sales Indonesia, but it appears sportier with sharp lines etched across the body.

The Omoda O4 is touted to be the entry-level SUV for Omoda Jaecoo that will enter the production line in 2026. There is a high probability that this model will come in various powertrain options including gasoline, hybrid, PHEV, and EV.

Then there are other potential products. Such as the Omoda O9, Omoda C3, to the Omoda C7, present in Indonesia under the Jaecoo brand.

All three emphasize a futuristic and modern impression in both their exterior and interior.

The Omoda C7 is already sold in several countries like Russia. Its gasoline engine variant is equipped with an engine similar to the Chery Omoda 5 GT, with a 1,600 cc turbo capacity, paired with a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
