KatadataOTO – Jeep, under PT Indomobil National Distributor, is preparing to present its newest SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) for consumers in Indonesia this year. It is suspected they will bring in the 2025 Wrangler Rubicon.

For your information, Jeep, which is under the Stellantis umbrella, was previously marketed in the country by PT Das Indonesia Motor.

Speaking of the new product, Jeep has revealed that its launch will take place after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

This particular model is considered suitable for the needs of consumers in the country and is hoped to align with the interests of Jeep enthusiasts, as well as strengthen Jeep's character as a tough car.

“After Eid al-Fitr, there will be a physical launch for Jeep, which is an important milestone for Jeep in Indonesia,” said Ario Soerjo, Chief Operating Officer of Jeep Indonesia in Jakarta, on Monday (17/03).

The new product will also add to the variety of SUVs in the premium segment for the Indonesian public.

He was still reluctant to explicitly reveal the model in question, but the silhouette displayed by Jeep is identical to the Wrangler Rubicon.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was first launched in the Philippines in October 2024. In terms of appearance, it still retains the design of the previous model, with a few updates embedded in the cabin.

For example, the addition of a 12.3-inch infotainment system that has integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Regarding the price, it is likely not much different from the Jeep Wrangler previously marketed in Indonesia, which is in the range of IDR 2.3 billion and above.

To prepare for the arrival of the newest model, Jeep is ensuring its dealers are ready to reach consumers and provide the best service, including after-sales and spare parts availability.
