KatadataOTO – The presence of boxy off-road style Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) seems to be well-received by the public. The Jetour T2 is no exception.

The T2 is the third model sold by Jetour in the Indonesian market. Not an electric car, the Jetour T2 still has a conventional engine.

This is part of Jetour's strategy to first introduce gasoline-powered cars to attract consumer interest.

This has proven to yield positive results for Jetour. After its launch at the GJAW 2025 event, 700 units of the Jetour T2 were ordered by customers.

Jetour itself has a target to sell at least 780 vehicle units throughout 2025. As of November, Jetour's retail sales figure (distribution from dealers to consumers) is 664 units.

This means that in December 2025, Jetour needs to deliver 116 units to consumers to reach that target.

“We are still on track and optimistic (about reaching the 780-unit target),” said Moch. Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia in Tangerang, on Thursday (18/12).

To close the 116-unit gap, Ranggy revealed that several efforts are being made, such as mall exhibitions in a number of major city areas.

“This December, we have several mall exhibition points where we are not only focusing on the T2, but also on the experience for the Dashing and X70 Plus,” said Ranggy.

He further explained that there are nine exhibition areas focused on offering Jetour's vehicle lineup in shopping centers.

Not only in Jakarta and its surrounding major cities, but also covering potential areas outside of Java Island, such as Pontianak, Kalimantan.

“We are using that as our ammunition to get more orders this year,” Ranggy affirmed.

For your information, Jetour offers three Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) car models, including the Dashing, X70 Plus, and T2.

However, next year, for the first time, Jetour will bring in its electrification lineup, namely the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version of the T2.

If the T2 ICE is sold for around Rp 500 million, the hybrid version of the boxy SUV has an indicative price in the range of Rp 800 million.
