KatadataOTO – The boxy Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Jetour T2 will be officially launched at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week or GJAW 2025 automotive event.

It should be noted that the model was previously introduced to consumers at the GIIAS 2025 exhibition. However, at that time, orders were not yet open.

Some salespeople had offered the Jetour T2 for a price in the Rp 700 million range. However, this model is confirmed to be locally assembled, so its price tag is believed to be more competitive.

“For now, it's still Completely Knocked Down (CKD), but it will later move towards Incompletely Knocked Down (IKD). The percentage will continue to increase,” said Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia in Bekasi, recently.

Using the IKD scheme, Ranggy emphasized that various components used in the Jetour T2 are locally produced.

This certainly plays a role in reducing the selling price of the Jetour T2, which was initially claimed to be in the Rp 700 million range and above.

Meanwhile, referring to the Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) of the Jetour T2 on the Samsat PKB website, the conventional engine variant is listed at Rp 275 million to Rp 295 million.

Jetour also intends to bring in the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version of the T2, registered with an NJKB of Rp 305 million.

However, in the near future, the Jetour T2 will only be offered in the Internal Combustion Engine or ICE variant option first.

“Our focus that we can reveal today is that pre-booking will officially open in the near future, at GJAW,” Ranggy affirmed.

Ranggy is still keeping the price information under wraps. But he admitted that consumers are already enthusiastic about welcoming their newest model for the Indonesian market.

“From the sales team, dealers, and others, we have already received enthusiasm from consumers. We will also update the production strategy later,” he said.

For your information, the Jetour T2 is part of the Offroad Travel Series, which aims to reach consumers who need a family car with capable performance and the ability to accommodate long journeys.

Its closest rival is the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid. Currently, that model is offered to consumers with a price tag ranging from Rp 499 million to Rp 575 million on the road in Jakarta.
