A number of salespeople have started offering the Mitsubishi DST Concept to consumers, here's its estimated price range.
KatadataOTO – Mitsubishi is reportedly soon launching a seven-seater configuration SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) model for consumers in the country.
Based on the DST Concept, the product will fill the empty gap between the Pajero Sport and the Xpander Cross.
The latest news is that the production version of the Mitsubishi DST Concept will be officially launched at the GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) 2025.
According to a Mitsubishi salesperson, the DST Concept can already be ordered if consumers are interested.
“The DST will launch next month but pre-orders are already open. The estimated price is between Rp 350 million and Rp 500 million,” said a Mitsubishi salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Monday (16/05).
Preliminary information suggests the DST Concept will be presented in Indonesia as a gasoline-powered car and will not be equipped with hybrid technology.
“It will likely use a 1,500 cc gasoline engine with a turbo,” said the salesperson.
If placing an order, consumers will need to wait for an indent period of about two to three months.
However, this figure could change depending on how many consumers place orders.
For your information, Mitsubishi is confirmed to be ready for mass production of the DST Concept this year. Its sales focus will be the Southeast Asian region.
This was mentioned in the Mitsubishi Motors financial report published on May 8, 2025.
“Mass production of the Mitsubishi DST Concept is being carried out for its launch in ASEAN countries,” the statement read.
Furthermore, in the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs (Permendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2025, there are four registered types of the Mitsubishi DST Concept.
There is no detailed information about the engine, but it is likely to be the same as the engine currently used by the Xpander and Xforce.
The NJKB (Motor Vehicle Sales Value) for the DST Concept is in the range of Rp 193 million to Rp 240 million.
For comparison, other 7-seater SUVs in Indonesia include the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH (Rp 499 million-Rp 519 million), Honda BR-V (Rp 297.3 million-Rp 370.4 million), and Toyota Rush (Rp 303.9 million-Rp 314.6 million).
