KatadataOTO – LCGC (low cost green car) is an affordable vehicle option that is popular among the public, especially first-time car buyers.

Offered in 5-seater and 7-seater options, LCGC prices range from IDR 130 million to IDR 200 million. The three brands that offer LCGCs are Toyota, Daihatsu and Honda.

Toyota and Daihatsu have the Agya-Ayla and Calya-Sigra duos. The differences lie in the price, features, and vehicle design details, which can be chosen according to consumer needs.

Entering 2025, LCGC prices are affected by the increase in VAT (value-added tax) from 11 percent to 12 percent. One LCGC model, the Honda Brio Satya, has even surpassed IDR 200 million.

As of March 2025, the prices have not changed significantly. Specifically for the Agya, there is a new variant, the Stylix, which was launched at the IIMS 2025 event.

The Agya Stylix is based on the Agya G type, but is equipped with a body kit from GR Parts on several sections, giving it a sportier impression like the Agya GR Sport.

However, for the cheapest LCGC model, the Daihatsu Ayla, the lowest M manual transmission type experienced a price increase of IDR 11 million, from IDR 138 million to IDR 150.3 million.

Meanwhile, the highest type, the Ayla 1.2 R CVT ADS, was raised from IDR 194 million to IDR 201.2 million.
