KatadataOTO – Wholesale figures, or distribution from factory to dealer, for products in the Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV) segment experienced growth in October 2025.

Processed from Gaikindo data, total LSUV wholesales as of October 2025 reached 5,871 units. This achievement grew by 10.5 percent from 5,313 units in September.

This is in line with the cumulative increase in new car sales in Indonesia, providing a breath of fresh air for manufacturers approaching the end of the year.

The LSUV is one of the vehicle types in demand by Indonesian consumers due to several advantages.

For example, SUV characteristics like high ground clearance are balanced with a sporty appearance, while not forgetting adequate passenger capacity with a three-row configuration, making it suitable for family mobility.

Products like the Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios are also worth considering because they still maintain a rear-wheel drive (RWD) system, which manufacturers are starting to abandon.

Looking in more detail, the Toyota Rush leads LSUV wholesales for October 2025. The model was distributed to consumers with a total of 2,014 units.

The second position is still secured by the Daihatsu Terios with 1,349 units. Daihatsu Terios wholesales experienced a positive trend of 6.6 percent compared to September.

The Suzuki XL7 also recorded an increase to 1,033 units throughout October 2025. Whereas in the previous month, the distribution of this LSUV was 830 units.
