LSUV Wholesales September 2025, Toyota Rush Leads

KatadataOTO – The Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV) is one of the favorite vehicle options for the public, alongside the Low Multi Purpose Vehicle (LMPV).

It has a large capacity of seven passengers but is wrapped in a sportier look compared to an LMPV.

Then there are still model options using rear-wheel drive or Rear Wheel Drive (RWD), which is often a consumer preference.

Not only that, the price of an LSUV is considered competitive in the Rp 400 million range, making it an attraction.

Throughout September 2025, the wholesales figure (distribution from factory to dealer) for LSUVs was 5,255 units.

Although stable in the 5,000s, this achievement was down 0.77 percent from the previous record in August 2025 of 5,266 units.

Based on data processed from Gaikindo, the top position for LSUV wholesales is still occupied by Toyota Rush with 2,273 units.

Wholesales LSUV for Toyota Rush in September 2025 increased by 15 percent from August 2025 (1,959 units).

Daihatsu Terios also showed a positive trend at 1,265 units, up 12 percent from the previous month.

Apart from the Toyota Rush, Daihatsu Terios, and Citroen C3 Aircross, all others experienced a decline from their August 2025 report.

Suzuki XL7 had 742 units shipped in September 2025. Whereas in August 2025, the figure reached 1,001 units.

Following that, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross distributed 406 units, and the Hyundai Stargazer X 246 units.

Meanwhile, the Honda BR-V, which is the only LSUV from Honda Indonesia, had 252 units shipped to dealers.
