KatadataOTO – PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) has officially partnered with Garuda Indonesia and Tahilalats in the Sky Explorer collaboration. This program is part of the launch of a new model that will take place from July to December 2025.

Mitsubishi Motors will be present at various Garuda Indonesia passenger touchpoints through Sky Explorer content. Starting from boarding pass sleeves, luggage tags, paper cups, headrest covers, in-flight cabin announcements, and exclusive content on the inflight entertainment system.

Passengers can also learn more about the new model through a special booklet designed by Tahilalats on the Sky Explorer-themed aircraft and in select Garuda Indonesia lounges.

“We are proud to collaborate with Garuda Indonesia and Tahilalats in the Sky Explorer campaign. This collaboration is part of our strategy to introduce the latest Mitsubishi model,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI.

Not only that, Mitsubishi will also bring the concept of their collaboration to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 booth. A special “Sky Explorer” customer lounge will be a differentiator at the event.

Furthermore, MMKSI will also present a special display and test drive booth at the Garuda Indonesia head office. This step is taken to give the crew and employees the opportunity to experience the excellence and performance of the model.

It should be noted that at the GIIAS 2025 event, Mitsubishi will launch a new model based on the DST Concept platform. According to information from a salesperson, the model is already available for order.

“The DST is already available for pre-order. The estimated price is between Rp 350 million and Rp 500 million,” said a Mitsubishi salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO some time ago.

He also revealed that the model will have a gasoline engine and will not be equipped with hybrid technology.

“It will likely use a 1,500 cc gasoline engine with a turbo,” he said.

If placing an order, customers will need to wait for an indent period of about two to three months. However, this figure could change depending on how many people make a purchase.
