KatadataOTO – At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, Mitsubishi recorded 2,389 vehicle orders. This figure has met the target they previously announced, which was 2,000 vehicle orders.

Although the target was met, this record could not surpass the achievement at IIMS 2024, which booked 2,719 vehicle orders. The decline is believed to be due to the significant pressure still on the automotive industry.

During this year's IIMS, the Mitsubishi Xpander (including the Xpander Cross) remained the most sought-after model. This is because the model contributed 56.8 percent of the total orders.

The high interest in this model is not too surprising, as the Xpander has long been the backbone of Mitsubishi's sales in Indonesia. Besides its sharp design, the car can also accommodate up to seven adults, making it suitable for use during homecoming trips.

Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Xforce was also considered to have achieved good results. According to data provided by the manufacturer, the model contributed 23 percent of the total orders.

Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport accounted for 19 percent of the total orders.

“We greatly appreciate the trust and enthusiasm of our customers for our products and services. On the special occasion of Mitsubishi Motors' 55-year journey in Indonesia, we are committed to continuing to innovate and provide the best mobility solutions for the community,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia in his official statement (27/02).

The large number of orders received by Mitsubishi was inseparable from the manufacturer's various programs during the exhibition. This is because the company did not want to miss the opportunity, as the event's timing was close to the fasting month.

Several benefits were offered during the exhibition, such as a free dashcam for the purchase of any Xforce variant and a low down payment starting from 15 percent for all types. There was also a 25 percent down payment specifically for the Diamond Sense version, which is equipped with a suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features.

Mitsubishi will also strive to fulfill orders as quickly as possible so that customers do not have to wait too long. Thus, it is hoped that the vehicle purchasing experience will remain positive.
