New Diesel Oil Prices from Pertamina Lubricants at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – To liven up the GIIAS 2025 event, Pertamina Lubricants launched its newest lubricant product specifically for diesel engines, namely Fastron Diesel 5W-30.

The synthetic lubricant is claimed to have been modernly designed with high technology, has a low viscosity so it can circulate faster in the engine and provide maximum protection.

The newest lubricant variant is expected to meet consumer needs for modern diesel engine oil, including engines with turbochargers.

“Pertamina Lubricants wants to continue providing high-quality lubricants in line with the development of international standard automotive technology,” said Nugroho Setyo Utomo, VP Marketing of Pertamina Lubricants in Tangerang recently.

It was further explained that Fastron Diesel 5W-30 lubricant can maintain the temperature stability of turbo components and the engine without sacrificing performance.

Thanks to its low viscosity, resistance inside the engine chamber is reduced, ultimately making combustion more efficient and saving fuel consumption.

Choosing the right lubricant for a diesel engine is crucial. Incorrect oil usage can lead to engine damage.

“If the oil's friction is wrong and causes heat, diesel engines do not have a high tolerance for overheating. So you have to be careful,” said Rifat Sungkar, Brand Ambassador for Pertamina Fastron on the same occasion.

Fastron Diesel 5W-30 oil has met the European specification standard ACEA A5/B5, an indicator of a low-viscosity lubricant with a long service life.

The lubricant is expected to be ideal for passenger diesel vehicles, including Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs).

Not to forget modern diesel engines complete with turbochargers and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems.

The price of the new diesel engine oil from Pertamina Lubricants is around Rp 120 thousand for a one-liter package, while the four-liter package is offered at Rp 400 thousand.

The product can also be seen directly at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.
