Shell Fuel Scarce Again: Here's a List of Gas Stations That Still Have Stock

KatadataOTO – A fuel (BBM) scarcity has occurred again. This time, Shell Indonesia is the first to experience it.

According to KatadataOTO's monitoring since Tuesday (23/12) afternoon, a number of Shell gas stations have run out of stock.

This has happened at Shell stations from Bekasi to Bogor, making it impossible for drivers to buy Shell Super fuel.

This situation is certainly unfortunate, considering that fuel at private gas stations has also been scarce in recent months.

A scarcity of Shell fuel occurred in early 2025. It then continued last August. 

The situation had only recovered in the last few weeks, as Shell had just received a fuel supply from Pertamina.

"For Shell Indonesia, this distribution is 100 thousand barrels," said Robert MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, to Antara.

Pertamina's move to supply fuel to Shell is a form of their commitment to fulfilling the government's mandate.
