KatadataOTO – New Xpander Cross is presented as a Low SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) that combines masculinity with comfort.

Thus, this car can be the answer to the needs of the people in Indonesia. This is because consumer trends in the country continue to evolve and become more complex.

On one hand, they want to appear confident while still being able to enjoy the driving experience.

The New Xpander Cross balances a bold exterior appearance. However, it can offer comfort in the interior.

Moreover, the model has just received an update. On the fascia, a new trapezoidal grille, a thick skid plate, and a modern lamp design are visible.

Entering the cabin, Mitsubishi Motors provides a touch of luxury, from the elegant burgundy color, wood ornaments, to two-tone synthetic leather seat upholstery.

The combination above creates a special attraction for potential customers.

“We hope that the refresh on the New Xpander and Xpander Cross, as well as attractive after-sales programs, can facilitate consumer demand,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI (Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia), as quoted on (27/06).

To enhance comfort inside the unit, especially in the second row, it is equipped with a Multi Around Monitor and 6 SRS Airbags.

As an SUV, the New Xpander Cross is also equipped with a high ground clearance of 225 mm. As a result, the vehicle can handle various road conditions in Indonesia.

It is also supported by a capable suspension system. This keeps the car comfortable when traversing damaged roads without excessive shaking.

For entertainment, there is also a 10-inch monitor in the center of the dashboard. Meanwhile, the driver is provided with an informative 8-inch LCD meter display.

In terms of safety, it is packed with features such as the RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body structure, ABS (Anti Lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) with Brake Assist, HSA (Hill Start Assist), ASC (Active Stability Control), and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).

Not only does it provide safety for the car's occupants, but there is also a Pedestrian Protection feature. This is a passive safety feature to absorb impact energy on the hood.

The New Xpander Cross is marketed with prices starting from Rp 338 million for the MT (Manual Transmission) variant. And Rp 364.2 million for the Premium CVT variant.
