KatadataOTO – After previously releasing a special edition for the modified version, Seres Indonesia is once again offering an attractive option for customers. At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, they collaborated with Scuto and are offering a new option.

This option is the Seres E1 Scuto Signature Edition, which has been coated with Nano Ceramic Coating and Rust Protection. With this, it is hoped that the vehicle's color will be preserved longer and will not rust easily.

“In this collaboration, Scuto will coat the Seres E1's paint as soon as the car is finished with production, thus providing additional protection, especially for the paint,” said Mario Haryanto, Retail Finance Manager of PT Sokonindo Automobile (21/02).

Interestingly, the color options for this variant are more numerous than the standard ones. This is because they have added Two-Tone Color options, namely Black Green, Black Blue, Black White, White Green, and White Blue.

To ensure the quality of the coating results, Scuto will apply the coating immediately after the production process is complete.

“Usually, the vehicle has been driven around first, so the quality of its color deteriorates. However, with this collaboration, the result will certainly be different,” said Raymundus Arief, Chief Strategy Officer of Scuto Group.

Not only that, he also added that Scuto will provide a warranty for the Nano Ceramic for five years. That figure is slightly longer than if customers came directly to Scuto.

To get it, customers only need to pay an additional IDR 5 million from the normal price. It should be noted that the Seres E1 has dimensions of only 3,030 mm in length, 1,495 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height, a wheelbase of 1,960 mm, and a ground clearance of 135 mm.

The Seres E1's power source comes from a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. With it, the car can travel a maximum distance of 220 km on a single charge.

The vehicle's performance is also quite interesting as it is equipped with an electric motor capable of producing up to 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque.

The Seres E1 is already equipped with a number of safety features, ranging from Anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, to a parking camera.
