KatadataOTO – Suzuki recently published a teaser showing the silhouette of a car's taillight, suspected to be the XL7.

The Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV) model is already marketed in Indonesia, but it seems there will be special changes for this new edition.

Reporting from Suzuki's social media page, the manufacturer from the Land of the Rising Sun only provided a teaser for a new variant name, namely Kuro, or black in Japanese.

Although the details of the new Suzuki car are not yet known in detail, it is strongly suspected to be the top XL7 variant wrapped in a sportier all-black exterior.

To differentiate it from other types, Suzuki might embed a special emblem on certain parts of the car. It would then be sold in limited quantities.

Similar things are often done by other automotive manufacturers to add a variety of choices for potential customers.

Currently, the highest variant, the XL7 Alpha Two Tone AT Hybrid, is not available in an all-black color option but rather in two-tone options, namely Sunrise Orange-Black, White-Black, and New Savanna Ivory 2 - Black.

It should be noted that the XL6 is a model with a similar design to the XL7 but with slightly shorter dimensions.

For the new XL7 Kuro variant, it is not impossible that Suzuki Indonesia will provide feature and interior refreshments, adopting from the XL6.

In the XL6, there is a 6-seater seating configuration option. The middle section uses captain seats complete with armrests to increase passenger comfort.

If the Suzuki XL7 Kuro is later released domestically, the engine used will likely remain the same as the changes are only focused on appearance.

The XL7 Hybrid uses a K15B code engine with a 1,500 cc displacement, equipped with Smart Hybrid Vehicle System by Suzuki or SHVS technology.

For your information, the Suzuki XL7 is available domestically in several variants.

The gasoline engine type is sold for Rp 264 million to Rp 275 million on the road in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the XL7 hybrid variant is offered with a price range starting from Rp 286 million to Rp 309.2 million.

The Alpha Two Tone AT Hybrid variant is equipped with more features. This includes Hill Hold Control and a Rear Camera, which are not available in some other types like the Zeta.
