KatadataOTOMitsubishi Destinator has managed to capture the attention of many people. It is even claimed that vehicle order letters (SPK) have reached around 12,000 units by the end of November 2025 since its launch in Indonesia.

Now, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has announced a new step in marketing the seven-seater SUV.

Through its subsidiary, Mitsubishi Vietnam Co., Ltd (MMV), they have officially started selling the Destinator in the Land of the Blue Dragon since December 1, 2025.

This launch marks a strategic step for the three-diamond emblem manufacturer in expanding the reach of the Mitsubishi Destinator.

This will strengthen the product's position in the Southeast Asian market, after being sold in Indonesia and the Philippines.

“For more than three decades, MMV has continued to grow with strength and consistency,” said Tomoki Yanagawa, General Director of MMV on the official Mitsubishi Motors website, Friday (12/12).

Tomoki hopes the Mitsubishi Destinator will be well-received by consumers, achieving success in the Vietnamese market.

Moreover, the four-wheeled vehicle is believed to be suitable and reliable for every family trip in the Land of the Blue Dragon.

“We truly hope this model will become a loyal companion for families in Vietnam, providing comfort and adventure for everyone on their journey,” Tomoki continued.

Indeed, Mitsubishi has planned to introduce the Destinator to a number of ASEAN countries. It will also target South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

In total, there are 70 countries that will become markets for the Mitsubishi Destinator in the near future.

Thus, the car can become better known to consumers in various parts of the world. It can be relied upon for mobility needs.

It is worth noting that the appearance of the Mitsubishi Destinator sold in Vietnam is not much different from the Indonesian and Philippine markets.

The fascia uses the Dynamic Shield design language with a honeycomb-shaped grille. It also features a floating roof design.
