KatadataOTO – Suzuki is back at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 with various attractions. One of them is the presence of the Jimny Adventure Experience which invites visitors to directly experience the performance of the five-door Suzuki Jimny.

The location is not very spacious, but the Japanese manufacturer has provided several facilities believed to highlight the performance of their flagship SUV. Starting from sandy roads, a seesaw, to a 48-degree incline.

KatadataOTO also had the opportunity to try the Jimny Adventure Experience directly from the passenger seat. This is because the track is quite extreme, so the driving must be done by a professional.

The first track was a sandy road that the Suzuki Jimny passed through quite easily.

Then, the unit was directed towards a stair-shaped incline. To cross it, the gear was shifted to 4L to ensure the vehicle could move safely.

After passing it, the car had to go through an uneven track to demonstrate the strength of its suspension. Although a tire was momentarily suspended, the Suzuki Jimny passed through it with ease.

The most extreme obstacle, in our opinion, was the incline with a slope of up to 48 degrees. The car had to get a running start before tackling it.

When the gas was pressed, the vehicle could climb quite easily. After reaching the top, the brake was applied to a full stop.

“We use Hill Descent Control so the descent remains controlled without needing to press the brake pedal,” said the test driver accompanying us.

He also revealed that all the cars used were still standard, so visitors could directly experience the actual performance.

It should be noted that the Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is imported directly from India. This car has an overall length of 3,965 mm, a width of 1,645 mm, a height of 1,720 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,590 mm.

The Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is marketed with a 1,462 cc 4-cylinder 16-valve VVT engine, codenamed K15B. The car's power source is believed to be capable of producing 103 hp at 6,000 rpm and 134.2 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.

The car also adopts a 3-Link Rigid Axle with Coil Spring suspension. As for braking, it is equipped with Ventilated Discs at the front and Drums at the rear.
