KatadataOTO – Toyota introduced a new look for mToyota at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. This new design is believed to strengthen integration, connectivity, and overall convenience for owners and prospective buyers of Toyota's mobility solutions.
In this application, there are various features believed to make it easier for vehicle owners to make purchases and find spare parts.
“This application is here to provide a connected vehicle ownership experience. We want to ensure that Toyota can provide a seamless ownership experience for customers and dealers,” said Hiroyuki Oide, Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM).
The mToyota application will make it easier for customers to buy a car by finding official dealers based on distance, activity history, and favorite dealers. The application also allows users to utilize features such as booking service appointments and monitoring service status periodically.
Toyota also makes it easier for people to subscribe to T-Intouch. Previously, they had to go to the nearest dealer to extend the validity period, but now people can simply use the AstraPay application.
The process is easy because the owner only needs to enter the vehicle's chassis number and make a payment. After that, the T-Intouch service can be enjoyed for the next year.
Toyota also introduced their newest service, the Hybrid Health Check. The service is provided for Hybrid vehicles, including Battery EVs, aged 3 to 5 years or with 50,000-100,000 Km on the odometer, during every periodic service at an official Toyota workshop.
There are three components that will be checked. First is the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) to detect issues with the engine computer.
Next is the Hybrid Battery to ensure the vehicle's battery is in good condition (including internal voltage, resistance, temperature, etc.). Then, a Visual Check by a technician who inspects the physical condition of components such as connectors, cables, and other signs of damage that are not detected digitally.
Additionally, at GIIAS 2025, Toyota also expanded its product line for T-OPT as a vehicle maintenance solution by providing quality yet affordable spare parts.
During the first 3 years or 60,000 km, customers can take advantage of the T-Care program with free service fees and spare parts up to the 7th service. Then, an additional 1-year or 20,000 km Extended Warranty is available, provided that the vehicle is regularly serviced at an official workshop.
