KatadataOTO – In early 2026, a number of manufacturers adjusted the prices of their products. As was done by Toyota Astra Motor (TAM).

Several four-wheeled vehicles from Japan experienced a price increase in January 2026.

According to KatadataOTO's monitoring on Wednesday (14/01), the price of the Toyota Avanza has increased by varying amounts.

For example, the price of the Toyota Avanza 1.3 E M/T, or the lowest variant, is Rp 243.7 million. There is an increase of around Rp 700 thousand from the price in 2025.

Meanwhile, for the automatic transmission, the 1.3 E CVT, you can get it for Rp 258.7 million, also an increase of around Rp 700 thousand.

On the other hand, if you intend to buy the Toyota Avanza 1.5 G M/T, you must prepare funds of Rp 266.8 million.

If observed carefully, the figure above shows an increase of Rp 800 thousand. Because in 2025 it was only around Rp 266 million.

Finally, the price of the Toyota Avanza 1.5 G CVT, or the most expensive type, is set at Rp 281.6 million. It also experienced an increase of Rp 800 thousand.

Of course, people or consumers who intend to buy this car must spend a little extra.

For your information, new car prices often increase at the beginning of the year. This is usually due to adjustments in the Motor Vehicle Title Transfer Fee (BBNKB).

This condition does not only happen to the Avanza. It can be experienced by other Toyota products as well as other car brands.

It should be noted that the Toyota Avanza 1.3 carries a 1NR-VE coded engine with a displacement of 1,329 cc.

The mechanical heart is claimed to be able to produce 96.6 hp at 6,000 rpm. While its peak torque reaches 121.6 Nm at 4,200 rpm.

On the other hand, the Toyota Avanza 1.5 is equipped with a 2NR-VE engine with a capacity of 1,496 cc. This engine produces 104.5 hp at 6,000 rpm and 137.2 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm.
