Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid GR Sport Debuts at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has officially launched the Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid GR Sport Hybrid at GIIAS 2025. The sedan is claimed to have received a number of updates in several sectors.

This is interesting because sedans are not a popular vehicle segment in the country.

The GR Sport variant is intended to strengthen Toyota's commitment to providing a fun driving experience for its users.

“With the same spirit, we continue this moment with something no less special, which is the latest innovation from the legendary Toyota sedan,” said Hiroyuki Oide, Marketing Director of PT TAM in Tangerang, Thursday (24/07).

Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport Hybrid has an elegant yet sporty look, with the use of 17-inch black wheels paired with black door handles.

Only three exterior color options are available: Platinum White Pearl Mica, Attitude Black Mica Metallic, and Red Mica Metallic.

The interior is designed with a combination of black and red stitching on the seats. The seat belts are also in red to enhance the sporty feel.

In terms of dimensions, the Corolla Altis Hybrid has a length of 4,635 mm, a width of 1,780 mm, a height of 1,455 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.

The hybrid sedan is equipped with a 2ZR-FXE four-cylinder hybrid engine with a capacity of 1,798 cc.

The combined performance of the hybrid engine is claimed to produce a peak power of 120 hp and a peak torque of 141 Nm.

Thanks to the addition of a battery, the fuel consumption of the latest Toyota Corolla Altis can be more efficient and economical.

Moving to the suspension, this sedan is equipped with a McPherson strut front suspension, while the rear suspension uses a Double Wishbone.

A number of driving safety systems are provided for the Corolla Altis GR Sport, such as Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Braking Distribution, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist.

Interested consumers can now start placing orders for the unit. The price of the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport Hybrid is Rp 644.9 million on the road in Jakarta.
