Toyota Secured 4,000 Orders Ahead of GIIAS 2025's End

Toyota garnered positive responses from consumers during the GIIAS 2025 exhibition, collecting over 4,000 vehicle orders.

KatadataOTO – PT Toyota Astra Motor is once again enlivening the GIIAS 2025 event. Amid various automotive challenges, Toyota recorded a positive consumer response during the exhibition.

According to data collected by Toyota up to the final days of GIIAS 2025, the number of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) collected was 4,250 SPK.

“Over eight days, there were 4,250 SPKs. The main contributor was the Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid,” said Jap Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of PT TAM in Tangerang, on Saturday (02/08).

The Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid is one of PT TAM's flagship models in the country. Although available in a gasoline engine variant, the hybrid type is ordered more.

Toyota does not deny that the current automotive market conditions are still quite challenging. However, the product variety of this Japanese brand is claimed to be a special attraction. 

“We are very grateful because amid challenging market conditions, the Indonesian people still place their trust in Toyota,” he continued.

For your information, Toyota brought a complete vehicle lineup and a series of new products including the Urban Cruiser EV, a locally assembled version of the bZ4X, and the Corolla Altis GR Sport Hybrid sedan.

The Urban Cruiser EV electric car has just been introduced to the public. Therefore, there is no information yet regarding its price when it is marketed later.

Meanwhile, the price of the locally produced Toyota bZ4X will be announced soon.

The Corolla Altis GR Sport Hybrid can already be ordered with a price in the range of Rp 600 million.

“We provide a variety of electric and hybrid car options to the people of Indonesia,” Ernando affirmed.

For your information, GIIAS 2025 is touted as the second-largest automotive exhibition in the world after China. In total, there are more than 60 automotive brands.

In more detail, 40 of them are passenger vehicle brands, 17 motorcycle brands, four commercial vehicle brands, four coachbuilders, and hundreds of supporting industries.

10 of the participating automotive brands are taking part for the first time or are returning after being absent for some time.
